Obviously, I'm a graduate student at North Dakota State University in Fargo ND. I previously attended the University of North Dakota, earning a master's degree in physics. I was interested in mathematical physics, so naturally I became increasingly interested in the mathematics that made everything "tick". In 2005, I decided to change fields to mathematics and the rest is history.
I have many interestes ouside of mathematics including (but not limited to) music, traveling, shower singing, and break-dancing. I'm originally from the area, so it's clear that I can't quite manage to get out of the state. While I was an undergraduate, I volunteered for the local public radio station KFJM which is now apart of the state network prairie public radio (formally "North Dakota Public Radio"). Among many duties at the station, I was the host of an evening jazz show.
