Abstract: Is time travel possible? If you are boring, then you probably assume that it is not. Fortunately, you would be wrong. Thanks to the fresh and tasty special theory of relativity, we know that time travel is indeed possible. In this talk, we will derive some basic results from special relativity and discuss their application to time travel. We will also discuss some time travel paradoxes and experiments that verify our results. This talk requires only basic algebra and a healthy dose of awesomeness, and should be accessible to everyone.
