Summer Jobs for Math Majors

• National Science Foundation-sponsored Research Experiences for Undergratuates (REU) Programs in mathematics. (There's a link at the bottom of the page for those of you in other disciplines.)
• National Security Agency (NSA) College Summer Programs. Included on this page are links to programs for mathematics majors, engineering majors, and computer science majors. (Both undergraduates and graduate students!) Beware, the deadline for these jobs is 15 October each year, due to the lengthy security clearance process.
• The American Mathematical Society's list of summer research programs. There are some programs listed here that are not on the NSF page.
• Johns Hopkins University's Center for Talented Youth (CTY) has summer positions for teaching assistants in many, many fields. Positions are available all across the country.

Applications for REUs and CTY are due in the spring, with deadlines varying from late January to the middle of March. If you have any questions about applying for any of these positions, contact Jim Coykendall or Mitch Keller (even if he's not here any more!).
